    6A and 6B Happenings!

This month we have written a persuasive essay and completed a unit in our Vocabulary Workshop book.  We have also worked with social studies and wrote a Greek myth play which was performed this week!  They did a wonderful job! Students started researching interesting topics on Curiosity Cards, and are learning how to cite websites properly.  Of course, there is still grammar every week, novel assignments, and we read every time there are a few extra class minutes.

We will be choosing a curiosity topic that was a favorite and doing an oral presentation that will include Google Slides.  We are also starting business letters this week as well.  6A and 6B have been and will continue to be very busy!

*Please make sure students have access to a printer to print out their work.  Unfortunately, I have almost 60 students and I can not print out all the work we have assigned.  If there is a problem with your printer or you run out of ink then please send me a note with the attached work.  In those cases, I can print from school.  The students have been late with work and as a result, are getting points off their grade.  They must have their printed work.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
