3A Homework Responsibilties 

Each night, Monday through Thursday, your child will have a homework assignment in different subject areas.

There will be a spelling test every Friday. We will also have vocabulary quizzes twice a month. Students are responsible for bringing their homework folder back to school each morning!  Also, it is important for 3rd graders to read each night for at least 30 minutes. Practice addition and subtraction facts as well as multiplication tables.  There will be a math test at the end of each topic.

In the event that a child is absent from school, they will need to make up whatever work they missed in a timely manner.

Reading every day builds a child's vocabulary and stamina. The more they read, the more they will love to read! 

We will have sight words and vocabulary words that will be practiced in class. The children may need to review at home on certain days.  

All homework will be checked in class.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.  I will check my email often. We will also use the Remind app for correspondence.
