    Homework for the week of October 26:

     

    Math

    We will complete our chapter on greater than/less than and ordinal numbers. We will take chapter test on Tuesday and begin our new chapter on the numbers from 6 - 10.

     

    Language Arts

    This week we will be working on the Letter Pp and its sound. We will learn the sight words "a" and "pink". We will read "THE HANDIEST THINGS IN THE WORLD and "DISCOVER WITH TOOLS" in our Big Books. We will read PAM CAN SEE and WE CAN SEE in our readers and read A WALK for homework.  We will write sentences and work on our penmanship. We will continue to work on the alphabet, rhyming words, sight words, syllables and finger following.  Please encourage finger following at home. Our theme this week is "TOOLS WE USE" and our category words are color words.

     

    Religion

    We will be learning about praising and thanking God.

     

    Social Studies

    We will read and discuss the Social Studies Weekly magazines entitled EARTH.

     

    Science

    We will talk complete our SCIENCE TOOLS chapter in our science workbook and talk about the planets. 

     

     

    PLEASE COMPLETE HOMEWORK AND RETURN TO SCHOOL

     

     

    Monday

    Math: Review worksheets for test on Tuesday

    Language Arts: Complete A worksheet.

    Move your clip in book to include A and PINK in your sight word book. Please practice your sight words every night. Please leave sight book home.

     

     

    Tuesday

    Math: No homework due to test 

    Language Arts:  Complete Letter Pp worksheet. Bring in a picture of an object that begins with the Letter Pp. Practice sight words.

     

     

    Wednesday

    Math: Math practice worksheet  

    Language Arts: Complete rhyming worksheet. Practice sight words.

     

    Thursday

    Math: Math practice worksheet

    Language Arts: Read A WALK 2x. Practice sight words. 

    Send in supplies to decorate a pumpkin...stickers, markers, etc.

     

    Friday

    NO HOMEWORK...ENJOY THE LONG WEEKEND!
