Good Morning, Everyone,
I hope that each of you had a good week. There are a few updates that I bulleted below:
1.) This was the first week that PTA offered the Self Care Cart to faculty and staff. It was truly a hit, and a wonderful experience. Thank you PTA members and parents who donated items to brighten our day! We are very grateful.
2.) Thank you to everyone who has complied with the Daily Health Check for your child/children, and put the information in the Genesis Portal. If you have not been compliant you should have received an email on Friday afternoon, October 16, indicating that compliance must be achieved by Monday, October 26th. The sending in of notes or leaving messages on our school answering machine is considered non-compliant. Please be sure that everyone does the Daily Health Check before 7:30am each school day, as we run the report for teachers at 7:30 am. Beginning on October 26th we will no longer do daily temperature checks for non-compliant students. Students who do not have a Daily Health check completed in Genesis before 7:30 am will be sent home. Thank you for your cooperation with this important matter! It is imperative that we keep our Faculty, Staff and Students safe!
3.) There will be a virtual CROP Walk send-off via Zoom on October 18th but there will be no in person gathering. Despite this, the need for food is greater than ever, and donations of the following items will be accepted through November. Those items are pasta and sauce, peanut butter and jelly, rice, beans, cereal, canned fruit, fruit cups, juice boxes, canned chicken or tuna, chili, beef ravioli, canned vegetables and cooking oil. If you are able to donate any of these items, please send them in with your children or drop them off at the Rectory Door at 16 McClean Street. Thank you!
4.) We will be doing a Test Message using the Honeywell Alert System on Friday, October 23rd after school ends. If you have already set up an account in this system, please go in and check to see that you can sign in. We cannot reset passwords as that must be done by the member who set up the account. I have attached the directions for new parents that will help you create an account.
5.) Just a reminder that earlier in the week I sent you links for surveys for our Diocesan and School reaccreditation for AdvancED/Cognia. The surveys will be live until Monday, October 19th.
6.) Attached to this email you will find a flyer from our PTA advertising our Thanksgiving pie sale, and a link to sign up for our parent directory.
Sending you good wishes,
Thought for the Week...
The Lord will command His Angels to guard you in all your ways.
