    Welcome back to school and welcome to what I know will be an exciting year of learning. I am looking forward to working side by side with you and your children.

    I fully promise to challenge your children to become effective learners and critical thinkers, each reaching the height of his or her potential.

    Guide to using my Teacher Page:

     

    HOMEWORK PAGE: Any homework in the subjects I teach will be posted on my Homework page. I will also indicate on this page test dates or due dates, being sure to bold or highlight them for your attention. I will also be using the REMIND app so that we are all on the same page- child, parent, and teacher!

     

    PARENT UPDATES/ CLASSROOM NEWS: On this page you can find class announcements and any updates I may have for you regarding what we are doing during the week(s) in any given subject or new approaches I may be trying for the class.

     

    • Pencil case with a zipper

    • Multipack of Ticonderoga #2 pencils

    • Pens:  2 black or blue pens, 2 red pens

    • Multipack of glue sticks

    • 2 boxes of 24 count crayons (Crayola)

    • 1 box of colored pencils (Crayola classic 24 count)

    • Markers

    • 1 pair of scissors (FISKAR if possible)

    • 2 white erasers 

    • Highlighters

    • Small post-it notes

    • 1 pack of index cards

    • Sturdy folders (pockets on the bottom work best) for various subject areas

    • Small personal size hand sanitizer (no more than 2 ounces)

    • Individual size packs of tissues 

    • 1 box of tissues for the class

    • Ear buds for chromebook use

    • 1 spiral notebook

    • 4 book socks

    • 1 thin notebook sized agenda book (for daily homework assignments)

    • 1 dry erase board marker

    • 1 dry erase board eraser

    • Clorox wipes

    • 1 Roll of paper towels

    • 1 box of bandaids

    • Metric rulers:  1 (12 inch) and 1 (6 inch)

    MATH TEACHER WILL DISCUSS SPECIFIC NEEDS!!

    Parents - 

    Please label all of your child's supplies and, if possible, place them in a Ziploc Big Bag (these are 10 gallon bags that will be able to fit all of their supplies).  Their extra supplies will stay in their bags and I will replace items as needed.

    St. Rose of Lima orders for each child supplemental magazines for instructional use in some of the subject areas. !!  

    A list was sent home requesting $37.50 - the amount of money for supplemental magazines that are ordered for the children and subject copybooks.
