Genesis Access and Information

Below are instructions for downloading a mobile app to your mobile phone. Although this is not a fully functioning app – it is more of a bookmark, it does allow for easier use of the Parent Access portal when using a mobile device. Because there are so many different phone versions, and all may bookmark somewhat differently, so the instructions below are general. Each phone version may be subject to its own nuances in the installation.

FOR IPHONE

• Click on Safari or the web browser on your iPhone
• Enter the parent portal address in the URL window -https://parents.dioceseoftrenton.org
• You will now be at the mobile Genesis Parent Portal website – click on this button at the bottom of your screen
• Click on the button - Add to Home Screen
• Click on Done
• The Genesis icon will now appear on your home screen – click and login using your credentials

FOR ANDROID

• Click on web browser on your Android
• Enter the parent portal address in the URL window -https://parents.dioceseoftrenton.org
• You will now be at the mobile Genesis Parent Portal site - -click on the 3 dots •
• Click the button Add to Home Screen
• The Genesis icon will now appear on your home screen – click and login

• Haga clic en Safari o en el navegador web de su iPhone

• If you try repeatedly to log into Genesis and are unsuccessful, WAIT 24 hours before trying to log on again.
• The following day, go to FORGOT PASSWORD link. Click on the link to have another Password emailed to you.
• Check your email and within an hour or less you will receive a new password and can try again to access the Genesis
  portal.
• WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSWORD. Save it in a safe place as it is very important for parents to have constant access to the
  Genesis portal.
