Mr. Popper is an avid reader of polar explorations and wishes he had seen the Poles. In response to a letter from Mr. Popper, Admiral Drake, a polar explorer, sends Mr. Popper a penguin. Soon there are twelve penguins and they're traveling and providing funny entertainment for audiences all over the country.
